Sorry, I mistakenly stopped the mixcloud-downloader yesterday and noticed that just now. It's up again. Sorry for the inconveniences.
@shompah_ How did that happen, and does it still happen?
@DanceQueendq Sure, it's a website it should work on any browser.
Today a data had a power outage. Sorry for that inconvenience. Everything is working now.
Sorry guys for the partial downtime. I will bring it back ASAP.
@ZiadAlabady Please send an email to [email protected]. Attach a screenshot of any relevant error messages and tell me which Mix you want to download.
@LoveforsoundsXY Yes, there's a cryptominer using 50% of your CPU. I'm evaluating that source of income to cover the costs. I understand that it might bother you, what other option to cover the operational costs do you suggest?
Mixcloud is rolling out a change. Some downloads are failing. I'm on it.
I'm starting to support downloading from Soundcloud as well. Please report any issues.
The next broken download round is in the pipeline, and it won't be easier: github.com/kaltura/nginx-…
I uploaded a first fix. Don't expect everything to work, but some mixes can be downloaded again.
@mager In other words, you can download the stream manually with something which can read m3u playlists (e.g. ffmpg).
@mager Thanks I was already successfully able to decrypt a stream. They're using this: tools.ietf.org/html/draft-pan…, also known as m3u8.
Mixcloud.com changed their streaming by encrypting it. That's why the downloader is currently broken. I see what I can do.
