Ards FC are delighted to note that defender Kyle Calderwood has been provided with the all clear to resume playing following an ACL injury. The 24-year-old sustained the injury on 28 February 2023 while playing for the 1st XI in their NIFL Championship fixture away to Dergview.

Transfer news: Five new arrivals at Ards so far this summer with the latest being midfielder Corey McLaughlin and winger David Alfred. McLaughlin (20) spent last season on loan at Dergview from Coleraine, while Alfred (19) joins from Cliftonville Olympic.

⚽️Ards will travel to newly promoted Limavady United on the opening day of the NIFL Championship season on August 10, with Bangor at home to H&W Welders first up. Like was the case last year, the first north Down derby falls early on in the season (August 27th).
