I've spoken to Muslim students forced to pray in corridors, in cupboards, on school fields in the rain. I've spoken to Muslims forced to leave their jobs because they weren't allowed to pray. The Michaela School incident is just one tiny glimpse of societal-wide Islamophobia.

@mcneilwillson You're an apologist for Islam, who doesn't really seem to understand the religion or the effects that it has on the host country at all. Are you a Muslim yourself?
School makes the rules. Don't like the rules, then bugger off somewhere else. The parents were well aware of the rules beforehand. This rule applies to ALL religions so stick your made up islamophobia where the sun doesn't shine. Read the judgement, the judge covered all of this in his explanation.
@mcneilwillson We are a Christian country, if you want to come here you should accept the Christian way of life and not to try to change things to Islam. Trying to go against the national religion would not go down in any Islamic country ever.
@mcneilwillson Pray in the PRIVACY of your home or your mosque. Not in public. Not at work. Not at school.
@mcneilwillson Well, when you are a settler colonialist, it's not easy.
@mcneilwillson Perhaps there are prayer rooms in their countries of origin...
@mcneilwillson How about we extend to the "Religion of Peace"™ the same degree of accommodation as it provides to infidels in the least tolerant Muslim-majority country.
@mcneilwillson Would you prefer the West became a theocracy ? Or that we allowed everybody to pray during work/school time ?
@mcneilwillson They don’t have to go to that school, it’s their choice. They know the deal when they apply so they can make more congenial choices if they want
