New Module: 4.1.1 Audiobooks, Regaining Attention Note: Post proudly written by hand, mistakes probable. Added a new module under 4 Attention. I've found great satisfaction returning to intentional consumption and ownership. I'm not longer finding my brain torn to pieces by with endless options - audiobooks being one of them. How I run it. - Purchase audio books from stores such as libro dot fm You own it, and making a purchase is one conscious committed decision. Audibles endless optionality in my opinion, creates further fragmentation in an already fragmented world. We're taking attention and intention back. - Player is audiobook player on iOS. Plays your own files, Apple watch capable (important) and no online store (also important). Standards for physical and digital books next.

My calendar used to lie to me. The plan said 3 hours of deep work. Reality was 40 minutes and a lot of "quick" tasks. With AI the game has changed. Deep work is now execution wotk Now I have two calendars. One is the plan, written the night before. The other is what actually happened, I don' touch the calendar I just say "starting X" and "done" to my AI operator. It opens and closes the events. Sunday it shows me the gap between the two, plan vs actual.
