We're re-coding the full megaupper.com system as it has more visitors every day and it's using a lot of CPU and RAM. No downtime expected.
By the way, we are not removing 6xp.net as our default URL shortener, just added adf.ly as an option to support MegaUpper.
We've just added a new URL shortener, adf.ly which also provides short URLs but with some ads (which help us support MegaUpper).
Would you like megaupper to be compatible with mobile devices? Let us know
Ok, no updates right now as we're all watching the FIFA World Cup concert... not huge soccer fans but the concert is worth watching.
This is how our new "short" URLs look like: http://6xp.net/l9s1n2 The original URL was over 50 characters long.
The integration is now complete, when you upload a file, you'll also be displayed a short url which is perfect for sites like twitter!
We're in the process of interfacing MU with a URL shortener site so that you can get a short URL as you upload (great for twitter!)
Now you can share your links to the most popular social networking sites directly from our site. Look for the share icons at the upload page
We're re-writing the rapidshare plugin from scratch as sometimes it fails. Will update you once it's been updated.
Ok, due to how some LCD screens are set up, the logo showed "too blue" on some LCDs, so we just updated it to ensure that we have a black bg
Ok, so after a lot of testing, we're uploading some changes to http://megaupper.com We hope you like them!
