Kind of underappreciated that Russell provided not only a jump-on point for completely new fans who've never seen an episode before, AND a jump-back-on point for the very real demographic of fans who fell off during the Moffat era and want something familiar to come back to.

Just because 14 is similar to 10 he’s still more than a worthwhile addition to the Doctor lineup. He’s not just an extension of 10’s arc but a culmination of all the Doctor’s trauma and experience and finally finding peace represented with a familiar face.

I REALLY hope this season restores my love for the show, #DoctorWho was my fave show FOR YEARS but the truth is the chibnall era killed it for me I have faith in RTD, but I can't deny I am uncertain about this season :/

Survivors Of The Flux rewatch. Yep, this episode was the most confusing one. Tecteun’s plan doesnt make much sense to me. I'm bewildered. Everyone giving great performances this episode, especially Jodie but the villains kind of suck, and the plot is too overcomplicated. 1/2

@TheBrookeDoctor Yep. The 4 specials is how I got into Who. Obviously didn’t understand everything about The Doctor & Donna’s relationship but I was entertained. The Christmas special was a good appetizer for “Season one”
