Game Maurizzi - Giri showed how important opening prep is in chess. Maurizzi played rare 6.Nb3 that would maybe confuse worse prepared players and on move 9 we had a never seen position. It would be interesting too see if @anishgiri went over this line in his course.

I think this tournament has shown how deep professionals prepare these days. First the Suleymani game and now this one. Absolutely fantastic to have a tournament like Grand Swiss.

I played championship of Serbia in Rapid and Blitz last weekend. Felt great but didn't score well. Came home, started sneezing, fever and a running nose. Two days later I started feeling a bit better and wanted to play some 5+3 and felt that I can see the future. #chesspunks

If someone ever told that I would be running Stockfish to the depth of 100 ply I would not believe them. However I am currently doing it for philosophy-scientific purposes. Fun stuff, might be available in English if Serbian version passes all the blind reviews. #chesspunks

For the last 2.5 months, I played the LoneWolf League on @lichess! The format was 30+30, 11 rounds, one game per week. I recorded all my prep, live commentary, and post-game analysis. 29 total hours of video. Highly recommend this league to anyone looking to improve their chess.

Sometimes no matter how well you play it doesn't go your way. Blundered mate in 1 up a rook in game 6 and lost on time round 8. I won against Kovačević who won the tournament at the end playing great chess, one of my strongest wins so far. #chesspunks
