I think for me the two things that will be “agi” are: 1. The output shows a recursive theory of mind and self corrects for that. 2. When left running it will autonomously act on the world in ways that are desires it created on its own.

There’s a particular personality type that’s very slowly and bad at a task but will defend themselves with claims of “craftmanship” and “love of the process”. I think I’m fundamentally incompatible with those people. Must avoid at all costs.
