If the secular and cyclical bull continues, the worst case scenario for the current medium term correction would be about $SPX 4600-4700.
As long as my LT is up, I don't expect a correction beyond SPX 4600
I don't try to analyze secular bull/bear. It's too costly. I focus on MT (medium term) and LT (cyclical bull/bear). My MT is down, but LT is up.
If the secular bull continues and a cyclical bear starts, we could test the $SPX 3800-4100 area. Oct 2022 lows should not break, if we start a cyclical bear.
Nobody on this planet has a clue when this secular bull could end. It could happen right now or it could stretch into 2034 or even as far as 2040. If it happens right now, we will need a deep selloff to about $SPX 2400 area, based on where my LT oscillators currently are.
If you are a medium term trader, you could make money in both cyclical bull and cyclical bear markets. You can make money faster in cyclical bears than in cyclical bulls. Cyclical bulls need patience, Cyclical bears need skill.
Typical Cyclical bear lasts anywhere between 6 months to 2 years. Typical Cyclical bull lasts anywhere between 2 to 4 years. An average cyclical bull lasts 2-3 times longer than a typical cyclical bear.
Lesson #1 in markets. Average secular bulls last 4-5 times longer than average secular bears. If you are an investor, it pays to be a secular bear. That's why don't micro-manage your retirement funds, unless you are a market wizard !
Secular bears last anywhere between 2 years to 8 years. 1930 secular bear lasted 2 years, ending in 1932. 1966 secular bear lasted 8 years ending in 1974. 2000 secular bear lasted 8 years, ending in 2008.
Guessing the end of secular bull markets is a dangerous game. People have spent their lifetimes on the wrong side of those guesses ! Typical secular bulls last anywhere between 22 - 34 years !.
I am not surprised that turds like MSTR is getting hit, but even the hyped up quality darlings like NVDA are getting hit. That's a change in market characteristic.
We reversed from a bifurcation area. It's a corrective action at this point. If it morphs into a change of trend, I will update here. But we need bounce first !

TLT bifurcation happened yesterday at 90. Retest of 83 is the next target !. This is not good for folks betting on rate cuts, buying homes. Stock market bifurcation is next !
TLT gave a MT sell today. First target is the 90 area. If that does not hold, then a retest of the 83 lows is the next logical target.
Market successfully fought and faded the Fed. Jerome Powell has no credibility left. Market will continue to fade him, unless he goes on into a full Volcker mode !
TLT is reaching my first target area. This is a bifurcation point. I am speculating we bottom here and start a rally. But I will wait for the market to confirm it. Either way this is a point to place your bets. Rally to 110 or retest of 83. Bifurcation should resolve soon.
