TODAY, in just a few hours, I WILL BE a MEDICAL SCHOOL GRADUATE. What a good good good God. It’s a testimony day that’s decades in the making. 😭

In church this morning and started crying in the middle of “Great is our God.” It hit me that in ONE week, I get to graduate medical school. Fully funded. Fully covered. And with a dual masters degree. Not one door opened without Him. God really did it.

While I haven’t had a true break in over a month and I’m perpetually exhausted, I can’t believe that I get to attend med school and learn everything I want to learn about the human body and for free too. Little me could have never dreamt this 😭😭😭 #babydoc

320 questions later... I'm done. Daily studying and grinding for months for this board exam while balancing master's courses and med school requirements. To say I'm exhausted is an understatement 😅. All I can say is thank you God for sustaining me and carrying me through 😭

If you abuse women, you are a bitch. If you need proof to see if a woman is telling the truth about abuse she’s endured, you are also a bitch. I hope this helps!

Girls are not the spoils of war, we’re also not property to be offered up to men in the middle of a crisis. It is our fundamental human right to have equal opportunity and choice #keepeyesonNiger #SayNOtochildmarriage

A person from Egypt, who opened a hole in the wall between Rafah & Egypt gives snacks every day through the hole to feed the children of Gaza who suffer hunger! The university students protest not to contribute to this humanity crisis.

I’m translating an interview of a Palestinian man who was held in an Israeli detention camp and it is horrifying. He says a man’s beard was plucked with pliers; 1 of the torture methods was playing loud music for 24 hours; they starved them, women were stripped of their clothes.

NEW: @VCU students walk out of their own commencement to protest @GlennYoungkin #valeg They will not be allowed back into the ceremony but don’t seem worried. “My families going to be mad, but it’s worth it for what he’s done to bBack and trans ppl” - said by a student outside

I’m down at @VCU’s commencement where @GlennYoungkin will give the main address. @VCUnaacp asked for the Gov’s removal from the event yesterday. “None will be punished if they protest GY’s speech in a way that doesn’t interrupt his 🗣️” - VCU spox @VSPPIO is near by. #valeg

Yesterday I saw my mum off at the airport, probably for the last time. She's getting too old for this 13hrs flight, and my lovely mother has refused to stay put in America. She's been coming back and forth America for the last 22 years. She's spent cumulatively 15 of the last 22yrs in the state, she's not had to work for money in the last 10yrs or so and her needs are met (if she does, it's out of boredom). This woman deserved every good things and more that we've been able to do for her. I had a community father (man married 7 wives and had 23kids that we know of). Growing up, this woman sleep for nothing more than 3-4hrs everyday of the week, jumping from one market to the other, selling what ever is in season just to support us. Her favorite word is "ọmọ olè lè bí ń pá " Meaning only lazy one goes to bed hungry. She has no formal education in this world, she had a twin brother and back then, only son education is seeing as productive, my mum would have cut her limbs to make sure all 7 of us got some education. May you keep living long so we can keep spoiling you rotten. I love you "ìyá alapo" I would always love you Ejìrẹ. Thank you for all you do, thank you for raising all 23kids of your late husband. Thank you for waking me up 2am 3am to eat dinner because I was asleep before you got back from your long market trips. Thank you for teaching my own sons our local dialect. I thank God for answered prayer, because growing up, I prayed so much that I just want to be okay so you can stop hustling.

Pls hear her beautiful Jewish experience at GWU protest that brought her “closer to my Judaism” w/Shabbat services, interfaith dialogue AND belated bat mitzvah by a rabbi. You won’t hear such myth-busting truths on corporate media for a reason. #FreePalestine #HandsOffRafah
