Fear is a facet of faith; I fear what I believe to be true. Fear invests my faith & gives power to things to become “true” in my life. It can rearm a disarmed devil. The only one I should fear is God, & that fear looks very different than the chilling counterfeit the enemy forged

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Prov. 9:10). Therefore the opposite is also true; If I’m feeling confused & I don't know why, the root of it is likely found in the fact that I've invested my fear in something other than God (my circumstances, people, myself, etc)

What is the worst thing we can do? Why do people do evil? "He did evil BECAUSE he had not set his heart on seeking the Lord." (2 Chr. 12:14). We all have our hearts set on something: our dreams, ministries, careers, people. What have I devoted myself to today? Seek God first.

Life isn't about learning a ministry procedure for this, or mustering faith for that. Life's choice is simple: Will I seek His face? He can get me my miracle. He will provide the money, the healing, the spouse, the dream. But do I get HIM? Have I found Him? Is He mine? Am I His?

"You will seek me & FIND me, when you seek me with ALL your heart." (Jer. 29:13) What is the ONLY life-giving thing to do? Seek His face. If I’m just carrying out, if I’m just ministering, if I’m just doing my job, it I will drain me to death. My one goal every day is: FIND GOD!
