Last week the Ontario government announced that all schools will re-open in September. The first day of school for all @alcdsb students is Thursday, September 3. More information about this re-open, specific to our schools, will be shared soon with parents/guardians.
We know families are anxious for details on LDSB school reopening plans. We are working on some FAQs & other resources to support the return to school based on Ministry directives provided last week. We will share them as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience.

As I spent time working 1:1 with students to complete detailed diagnostics; this keen group of students worked together to begin an inquiry project on monarch butterflies. Lots of rich questions, ideas and observations came out of their time together!

Wondering what supplies your student needs for back to school? In elementary, students rarely need anything other than backpack/book bag, lunch bag & indoors shoes (elementary). In secondary, teachers will make known any special requests during first few weeks of school.
