A mixture of #rumenprotected #choline and #rumenprotected #methionine is here manually mixed for our next trial with ⁦⁦@microfeeder⁩ #PitstopPLUS for #AutomatedPrecisionSupplementation. We expect a high effect on the performance of #CloseUp and #fresh #dairycows.

#precisionmineralsupplementation is a #robotic and #IoT solution called #PitstopPLUS from @microfeeder being demonstrated within @IoF2020, here visualised to explain what it is and what it means, not least for the #dairyindustry.

Professor Newbold and Dr. MacPherson explained in yesterdays @SRUC webinar about the negative balance of metabolisable protein and fantastic effects of supplementing CloseUp and Fresh Milkers with e.g. amino acids. @microfeeder #PitstopPLUS makes this possible.

Prevention of ketosis by giving dairy cows access to eat rumen protected choline (RPC) from two weeks prepartum until about six weeks postpartum is effective, and a cheaper and easier method than conventional use of propylene glycol. linkedin.com/pulse/cholin-p…

#PrecisionMineralSupplementation shows the way to better results in #dairyproduction. Preliminary results from @IoF2020 testbeds, now comprising 563 #dairy #cows shows fantastic effects of the #PitstopPLUS concept from @microfeeder:
