@annie_zak @emilywherever In Fairbanks, the Midnight Sun Baseball Game, the Midnight Sun Run (though that wasn't always on the exact solstice) and the Midnight Sun Festival downtown. Here, no real traditions yet. Solstice seems like a little less of a deal with a couple hours less light.
