Photos of the third part of this year's walk: Gyor to Komarno (along the Sultans Trail). 11 degrees and raining all day and I was suffering from mild hypothermia. Twenty minutes in a hot shower and half an hour snuggled under a duvet before I stopped shivvering.

Photos of second part of this year's walk: Bratislava to Gyor (Hungary). An eleven hour walk from Rajda to the village of Hedarvar, only to find at 7:30 pm that there was no food available anywhere.

This was my tenth year of walking across Europe from the Atlantic to the Black Sea. This year I walked from Vienna to Komarno in Slovakia. I had planned on walking for two more days, but the weather was awful. Photos of Vienna to Bratislava (more to follow).

Hello, I am new to X. I'm 79 and am hoping to be the oldest person to walk (alone) across Europe. I began at the Atlantic in County Cork, Ireland, and have walked through England, Netherlands, Germany and Austria. In Sep. I'm walking for a charity east from Vienna for 170 miles.
