State legislators were supposed to turn in a school budget on July 1st. It’s the end of September, and they still have yet to deliver. If our students are expected to turn in their work on time, why can’t our state leaders? Pass a school budget, Lansing!

Michigan still has not finalized the budget. Our teachers and students are already feeling the consequences, with some districts laying off staff and cutting resources to teach our kids. Enough with the delay.
