People ask me why we have so many churches. I tell them for the same reason we have so many of everything. We have a lot of different houses, shoes, shirts, books, music. Human beings are different and we need different things – even in our churches.

One of the sources of our anxiety is the feeling we’re not in control. The reality is we’ve never been in control. In our moments of deep prayer and study we’re reminded Christ has always been and always will be in control. We can rest in that. That reality can calm our anxiety.
