‘Invasion’ - fantastic 1st season, each storyline is equally attention grabbing and fascinating. Solid build up of tension all the way throughout-Billy Barratt performs with brilliant subtleties. Season 2 unfortunately becomes a standard ‘in your face sci-fi’ with less subtlety.

‘Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl’ - perfect for Christmas. They never miss a beat with these films. Superb family fun for both adults and kids. Would recommend if you’re stuffing yourself with mince pies. 9/10.

‘Carry-On’ - fun film. Some really enjoyable moments mixed in with questionable scenes. The parts that I enjoyed far outweighed the others. Bateman really is a superbly versatile actor. He can do no wrong in my opinion. 6.9/10.

‘Vice’ - a solid film. Firm individual performances and an extremely engaging topic. Did well in making the subject matter easily accessible for the wider audience. Not extremely nuanced but there again I don’t think that was Mckay’s intention. 7/10.

‘The Bear’ - first 2 seasons might be the best first 2 seasons of a show I’ve ever watched. Snappy, intelligent, intriguing + gripping. Yet to be convinced by season 3. But oh my those first 2 were incredible.

‘Deadpool + Wolverine’-what a film. IMO the best Deadpool of the franchise. Properly funny with the expected incredible action scenes. Reynolds + Jackman together is effortless. Up there with one of the best films of the year. Would HIGHLY recommend watching at the cinema.9.5/10.

‘The Dead Don’t Talk’-Mortensen again shows his versatility but Vicky Krieps really steals the show-a truly levelled performance. The film itself is definitely a film of compassion. Would recommend not watching the trailer before the film as it truly gives away the storyline.7/10
