Proper kick in the nads in injury time that, but from what we’ve seen so far in these three games is a team in the mould of what most of us want. Hardworking and putting everything on the line, the opposite of most of last season. Hopefully bodes well.

Played well for an hour, but then invited them on a bit too much. Biggest difference was their subs had a big impact whereas ours had none. Still, would have taken a point beforehand.

Really can’t call how we’ll do this season. Like what we’ve done recruitment wise but still feels we’re a few short. Only one game we could watch where we looked really solid but created nothing. Then there’s the ownership cloud still hanging over us.

Feels like we’ve by and large got that retained list right, one of Turnbull and Davies and one of Hawkes and Morris. Would have kept Merrie and released Walker the only thing I’d have changed.

Seven more to go, that’s the level of performance we need every game to get over the line. Aggressive, compact and organised. Glad we’ve finally got that more than a goal victory off our backs now too.
