Sadly and after a short illness my dear Mum passed away today. Sad but she had wonderful and happy life and despite Covid we were able to say goodbye

The other half has been partly working from home using the kitchen table which was uncomfortable so made her a desk for upstairs complete with mobile phone & pen holder. All from reclaimed wood.

Chair retrieved from the undergrowth in next doors garden. Needed a bit of a repair and a brush up. Underneath there is a label with some Polish writing and what I can only assume is 'made in' Krakow.

Made this for the youngest son (didn't think he would appreciate a candle holder) I assume a 19 year olds most important possessions are his mobile phone and car keys.

One positive about furlough is having time to indulge in the shed. A neighbour who is moving was clearing out her garden and found this random piece of wood on the right. Apparently she's had it for donkeys years and has sentimental value. So I made her a candle holder out of it.

Lotus Sunbeam. This one my dad owned in about 1983. I don't think it exists anymore probably found it's way in to a ditch somewhere. But you never know could be in someones barn.
