A diagnosis of ASD technically requires the diagnostician to observe “clinically significant challenges” When an Autist’s needs are met and their environment intrinsically accommodates them, they tend not to experience “clinically significant challenges.”
Getting mad is valid but it’s not going to solve anything. And getting mad at other people who mask but have other points of view is going to divide us. If you want people to wear masks, maybe it’s time to take a different strategy than yelling into the void about it.
Disabled people, I understand it’s easy to believe that those not wearing masks are terrible murderers who are participating in eugenics. And it’s somewhat true. But mostly it’s that they have been lied to by the govt and the news, and their brain prioritizes different things.
Sometimes I think the only way people will believe that a woman has been abused is if her abuser actually murders her and then I remember the existence of O. J. Simpson and I realise there are no circumstances under which people will actually believe that.
