"The greatest form of love is discipline. A lot of people run away from it, but I am not afraid of confrontation. I am not afraid of holding people accountable." Coaches want the best from you AND the best for you. Great coaches are not calling you out. Great coaches are calling you up to a higher standard.

We've always had SEL in schools. It was called recess, play, & classes like Music, Art, Physical Education. But they have been taken away or reduced to spend more time on testing, & then we wonder why students lack social/ emotional skills & misbehavior that comes with lack of it.

My son played basketball last year and rode the hell out of the bench. He wasn’t good enough to be out there. He wasn’t mentally tough enough but he was athletic and made the team. I never complained to the coach. Kids have to know you have to work harder and do more to prove yourself. Even if you are talented!

Panic led to lockdowns. Lockdowns led to fiscal stimulus. Stimulus led to inflation. Inflation led to monetary tightening. Tightening leads to recession. The panic wasn’t free - and the bill is coming due.

I called this 6 weeks ago. White House afraid of “recession”. It’s been know for decades that the definition of “recession” is 2 consecutive quarters of GDP declining but the current admin is working very hard to change definition. Google definition of “recession”.

Your terrible job is the dream of the unemployed. Your house is the dream of the homeless. Your smile is the dream of the depressed. Your health is the dream of the ill. Don’t let difficult times make you forget your blessings.

8th graders haven't had a normal school year since they were in 5th grade. The schools exist to serve the students, not the union.

Five great signs of intelligence: • You're not afraid or ashamed to find errors in your understanding of things. • You take mistakes as lessons. • You don't get offended with accepting the facts. • You are highly adaptable and very curious. • You know what you don't know.
