My kid had a tough day at school so I went and got stuff to make cupcakes. She said, “Mom, it’s just a plain, boring Monday there’s no reason to celebrate.” I said, “Yes, but it’s our Monday! And we can make of it what we want.” Turns out Mondays are way better with cupcakes.
