EASE IS THE ENEMY
We naturally want things to come easy.
It’s an innate human flaw.
Animals just want things. They want to eat, so they hunt. They want to survive, so they fight.
We humans want to thrive, but we wait and wish and sob when we don’t; we don’t really fight for what we want, for long enough.
Even if we’re in the middle of fighting for what we want, we have moments where we wish it were easier, we wish we already had what we don’t yet deserve.
It’s rarely purely a matter of a goal outcome and a tenacious hunt toward that goal without moments of weakness sprinkled in.
Forget, for a second, that things sometimes do come easy. It’s rare. But it shouldn’t enter into our minds when we’re hunting down a goal.
Wanting an easier path, a faster road to our goal, dream, ideal, weakens us.
It creates chinks in our armour, doubt in our minds, self-pity in our spirit.
A DIFFERENT PATH.
Want struggle.
Want a battle, a fight, something difficult that will force you to level up, to become better, tougher, stronger, wiser.
Want a tougher path because it is better for you, because it makes you a better man.
Want a harder battle because no one else wants it.
In the wanting of struggle you automatically become tougher, more prepared for whatever lies ahead - the good and the bad.
I know this completely opposes the natural way in which we think, the way in which culture pushes us to think.
Our culture pushes ease. Ease gets us nothing. It adds nothing to who we are as men.
Think about the gladiator in ancient Rome, or the soldier walking onto the battlefield.
Those wanting and wishing for an easy victory are utterly unprepared for the struggle that lies ahead.
Those expecting to have to go through hell and mentally preparing for the battle of their lives are ready, they’re sharp, they’re prepared to persist no matter how arduous it is.
They are prepared to win.
Be the Man in the Arena.
Be Legendary,
Chad Howse
If you want to be antifragile, if you want to grow - and not just survive - amidst struggle. You have to CHOOSE to be grateful for your struggles.
You have to CHOOSE to find out how they're happening for you, and not to you. This makes you tough, resilient, it gives you the opportunity to shake hands with your potential.
This is the way of the Man in the Arena.
I've tried dozens of different morning routines.
Rise. Read. Journal. Lift. Sunlight. Walk on grass. Pray. Plan. Study. Etc.
They all create a barrier between you and progress.
Wake up early as fook. Don't think. Work. Workout. Simple.
@jordanmenard clinically effective dose - we have 5 grams of spirulina, for example. Those brands include spirulina in a blend that's around 5 grams, with a dozen or so other ingredients.
"Character is far more important than intellect in making a man a good citizen or successful at his calling — meaning by character not only such qualities as honesty and truthfulness, but courage, perseverance and self-reliance." ~ Theodore Roosevelt
Make character great again.
“You become invincible the moment you decide that no event, no slander, no loss can disturb the citadel of your mind. The man who has survived the lash still walks with the stride of a king.” ~ Epictetus
To struggle well, is to live as a king.
Mita Power combines betaine, beta-alanine, L-carnitine, and creatine monohydrate.
Together, they create a formula that’s far more than the sum of its parts.
Let’s break down each component of @mitanutra Power.

Men aren't immune from the 'feeling sorry for yourself' epidemic. You see it in self talk, 'poor me, why don't I have xyz, why is all of the pressure and responsibility on me?' Or complaining to the pals about how work is, the wife, the kids, whatever.
Be careful. Once you think you're a victim, you are.
Love the struggle. Love the obstacles. Love the pressure.
Better it be on your shoulders than on your family.
This is why we're here, it's our purpose, we're both burden bearer and shield.
Opt-out from fear, worry about the future, concern about uncertainty, and get after it. Control what you can, release what you can't.
Carry the weight of your world on your shoulders as if it were a feather.
That's the Man in the Arena.
Put the word out.
@mitanutra restocked on Mangreens.
It's part of my supplement stack along with some of their other products.

Here are the supplements I use daily that helped me get right for my return to the ring.
Many of them are from @mitanutra, but not all.
That's because they're the only ones that make these formulations. I believe all athletes should use them.

Want to gain muscle WHILE losing fat? It used to be seen as a silly marketing ploy to buy a program. But, dozens of studies have now shown that it can be done...
Without going into a caloric deficit.

This is awesome @EdLatimore! Typically, when training for a fight, getting leaner, and increasing training volume, you'd see a drop in testosterone just because the stress you're placing on your body. To keep levels like that is huge! Appreciate you brother!
I know all the rage is TRT and peptides, but that's not an option for competing athletes.
Here's a review of a supplement I use to keep my testosterone over 700 ng/dl and free testosterone over 120 pg/ml.
Shout out to @mitanutra and @ChadHowse.

@GoesBear@EdLatimore@ChadHowse Ya we try to give worst case scenarios, just in case. If it takes that long it's because of some unforeseen delays. The plan is late next week if all goes according to plan, but things rarely go smoothly.
