Only days after Reading owner Dai Yongge said he was “open” to selling the training ground to keep the lights on, he’s done it. The buyers are….Wycombe Wanderers. You can’t blame them (Reading approached them) but it’s insult to injury for Reading fans. theathletic.com/5339939/2024/0…
@mjshrimper According to SkySports news that Reading training ground is owned by a different company to what the actual club is even though both are owned by the same person
@mjshrimper What happened to Mike Ashley buying Reading?
@mjshrimper If this is true, fair play to Wycombe, they probably just got top-end Championship / Premier League facilities for a fraction of the cost it would have cost them to build something from scratch. Cannot blame anyone other than Dai Yongge. Wycombe doing what's best for them
@mjshrimper 25 miles why would Wycombe buy that😂😂 players will need to move to Reading lol
@mjshrimper What I want to no is how can Wycombe afford it?
@mjshrimper Quite a trek, that.
@mjshrimper No one is going to want to buy reading now. I hope reading fans realise that now. Why would someone want to buy a club that hardly has any assets?
