Jesus is a major prophet in Islam too, so a Muslim would never cross out Jesus, hope this helps
A Muslim would also not conflate Jesus with God -- they are two completely separate entities -- so a Muslim would not see a picture of Jesus and think it's in competition with God.
@moorehn I have little love for zionists or their propagandists, however, I can perfectly see why Muslims would be offended at a *drawing* of Jesus. Islam is quite iconoclastic, if you remember perhaps, like the last time someone drew a prophet.
@moorehn Christians frequently depict Jesus with crosses.
@moorehn @Kyle_sleeps My Arabic is basic AF but that لا looks like something I wrote in my first week
@moorehn Not true at all. Jesus with 'omega, omicron, nu' ('he who is') is a statement that Jesus is God. Hence a Muslim crossed it out and refuted it with the statement 'there is no God but *God*. You should learn more before you make such clumsy statements.
@moorehn it is also wrongly written, clearly not by an Arabic speaker
@moorehn @abierkhatib We love Jesus and all prophets...so no. 0 for effort.
@moorehn @abierkhatib Regardless of who did this, it doesn't justify Israel's breaking international law.
