Is this the best timed trade of 2026? At 6:50 AM ET today, $1.5 BILLION in notional value worth of S&P 500 futures contracts were bought. This trade was so large it sent the entire index +0.3% higher that minute. Then, 14 minutes later at 7:04 AM ET, President Trump announced "productive discussions" with Iran were underway. By 7:10 AM ET, the S&P 500 had added +$2 TRILLION in market cap. That $1.5 billion position gained +$60 million in minutes. Absolutely incredible.

someone built a LOCAL ELEVENLABS that clones ANY voice from 3 seconds of audio and generates speech in 10 languages its called voicebox, runs ENTIRELY on your laptop, costs $0 FOREVER, no cloud, no subscription, your voice data never leaves your machine you record or upload a few seconds of anyones voice, voicebox creates a voice profile and from that point you can make it say anything in that voice, natural prosody, emotion, cadence. not robotic TTS, actual human-sounding speech powered by qwen3-TTS, same class of model the big paid services use, model downloads once, no internet needed after that, mac gets native Metal GPU acceleration, near real-time generation. windows needs NVIDIA but CUDA works out of box it also has a full DAW-style timeline editor, multi-track, multi-voice. you can build entire podcasts with different cloned voices, arrange clips, mix conversations, this is a production tool a professional voice actor charges $250-500 per FINISHED MINUTE ElevenLabs charges $22-99/month and keeps your voice data on their servers this is one download and your data NEVER leaves your machine

BREAKING: AI can now build financial models like Goldman Sachs analysts (for free). Here are 12 Claude prompts that replace $150K/year investment banking work (Save for later)

> be Indian IT companies > use cheap labor to get rich for years > don't invest a single penny in R&D > focus on share buybacks and making top brass rich > kill any effort within the company to invest in R&D > focus on mass hiring, mass firing > lose best talent to better firms, pretend not to care > 2022 - GenAI comes > nukes your labor arbitrage moat > struggle to adapt > try training workforce in AI tools - fail > clients ditch you, ask to renegotiate contracts, pass on "AI cost savings" > rely on massive balance sheet to stabilise stock price using buybacks > struggle to maintain margins, revenue, stock absolutely tanks > still don't invest in R&D, can't mass hire/fire anymore > admit in concalls top management has no clue what to do absolute_cinema.jpeg

This is Jean-Baptiste Kempf, the creator of VLC media player. He turned down tens of millions of dollars to ensure VLC remains completely ad-free. Thank you, Jean!

No more photoshoots! Just use this Nano Banana Pro prompt with a selfie: "A professional, high-resolution profile photo, maintaining the exact facial structure, identity, and key features of the person in the input image. The subject is framed from the chest up, with ample headroom. The person looks directly at the camera. They are styled for a professional photo studio shoot, wearing a premium smart casual blazer in a subtle charcoal gray. The background is a solid '#562226' neutral studio color. Shot from a high angle with bright and airy soft, diffused studio lighting, gently illuminating the face and creating a subtle catchlight in the eyes, conveying a sense of clarity. Captured on an 85mm f/1.8 lens with a shallow depth of field, exquisite focus on the eyes, and beautiful, soft bokeh. Observe crisp detail on the fabric texture of the blazer, individual strands of hair, and natural, realistic skin texture. The atmosphere exudes confidence, professionalism, and approachability. Clean and bright cinematic color grading with subtle warmth and balanced tones, ensuring a polished and contemporary feel."

What happens when we get all our knowledge from AI? The incentive to create knowledge shrivels up, and the stock of knowledge stops growing. A dystopian scenario, to be sure, but my column today lays out how it could happen. wsj.com/tech/ai/will-a…

I proudly present my most detailed photo ever of an extragalactic object: a 400 megapixel photo of the Andromeda Galaxy. Captured over a period of 3 months using 2 telescopes and thousands of photos. My favorite part is the core, which I’ll zoom into in the reply for you.
