@mradamscott @AnneWheaton Could you imagine if our grandparents and great grandparents had this mentality that people have today? We would still be fighting smallpox and polio. Just mind boggling.
@mradamscott My son started 7th grade this year. I had to show an up-to-date vaccine card. He had to get special vaccines just for 7th grade. Before that he had to have tons for elementary school. This. Is. Not. New. People are ridiculous. 🤦🏻♀️
@mradamscott It kills me that whenever I see these kind of intentionally misleading tweets, they come from someone who has been verified. Can they make the blue checkmark red for people trying to spread disinformation?
@mradamscott @RhysParton I was employed at a large public hospital and was required to have blood test to check if immunisation levels were ok. Boosters were required if levels were low. Flu shots every year as well. Safety of staff and patients were paramount.
@mradamscott You can’t reason with anti-vaxers, you just can’t.
@mradamscott To be fair, this varies by state. In mine, you can print out a form for a religious exemption and sign it to be excused from all vaccines. But, if you are a Federal Agent and have traveled, you are well vaccinated already. Customs is stricter than my state.
@mradamscott I’ve worked in 2 hospitals where I had to prove I was vaccinated…for one of them I literally had to track down my pediatric records for proof
