Nice! Do you know, or anyone reading this know, if the 3.05bpw GLM exl3 is materially smarter than that the 4.05 bpw Qwen 3.8 Flash Next running on the same engine and hardware? You can run both well on this gear. Has anyone benchmarked them head to head? I bet lots of people would be interested. Time for a showdown…

@Oluwaphilemon1 What does it mean if is a distillation? What model was distilled and what was involved?
My experience is that n-gram is very fast but sometimes benchmarks much better than it performs in real life. N-gram looks for prefixes that match exactly and that has a very high success rate on some kinds workloads and some basic benchmarks that use repetative prompts . I think it can be very effective for specific workloads that are very repetitive. It is definately light though, whereas something like MTP can be too expensive in terms of vram overhead. If you can’t run MTP on really tight vram for example, you probably should run n-gram. That’s my $0.02. Thanks for the article.
@1i__is With Headscale you still use the Tailscale clients. The clients see all of your unencrypted data. If you are not running Linux, the client is not 100% open source. Imho Headscale doesn’t fix the biggest problem with Tailscale if you are not on Linux.
