Follow up: I am now also a single mom with her own apartment. We have a holiday tree up year around. We listen to music way too loud every morning. I may seem like a completely different person than the mom from 2024.

In case you were wondering: Yes, I am still alive. I still have two kids. The three year old is listening to a Tonie. The one year old is pretending his stuffed animals are trucks. Yes, it is after 9PM and yes they will be awake before 7AM. Yes, even if this was a weekend.

I know they’ve told us that these TikTok trends are not “credible” threats. It still doesn’t make me feel any better about going in to do my job tomorrow. It just takes ONE person to act on these “trends” to completely change the lives of so many people. #publicschools

I try to FaceTime my parents once a week and call my mom at least every other day. When my child is sick all bets are off. They’re getting multiple FaceTime calls a day.

My girl is resilient. She’s had an URI for over a week and today she was diagnosed with her third ear infection and bacterial conjunctivitis. She is hurting and despite all of that she’s barely cried and has been such a happy little babe. 💕 #fivemonthsold

Everything about going back to work tomorrow feels wrong. ▪️Not having reliable/affordable childcare ▪️Having family drive 3+ hours to help watch my 4 month old ▪️Daycare availability for March of 2022 ▪️Daycares that are MORE than half of my take home pay/month

Even the CVS cashier says Lucero looks just like her daddy… She also said the first child always looks like their daddy, while the second one looks like their momma. So I guess there’s hope.
