10/10 But, it’s long LONG past time to rip Amazon and AWS apart. It’d be good for AWS. It’d be good for the economy. And, we’d find out if Amazon’s core retail business is really sustainable long-term, something they still haven’t proved.

@worldwise001 @GergelyOrosz github.com/stopthessotax/… implied that PRs weren't being merged back in but I see that activity in github.com/robchahin/sso-… is picking up again

@GergelyOrosz stopthesso.tax is the up-to-date version; sso.tax is no longer being maintained.

@GergelyOrosz @worldwise001 The other issue I see is those that charge SSO premiums per-host/per-event. Any additional maintenance or support costs would be fixed per organization (or maybe per user). Me doubling the number of hosts I maintain does not increase the provider's costs.

In 1995, 14 wolves were released into the wild in Yellowstone National Park. Scientists at the time did not suspect that this would radically change the entire ecosystem of the park. 1/n

This is a very valuable guide to understanding the disaster that is cryptocurrency, an interview with a serious computer scientist who has been researching crypto for years and whose honest appraisal is that the whole project needs to "die in a fire." currentaffairs.org/2022/05/why-th…

⁦@Ben_Aaronovitch⁩ - did someone hack your Amazon.ca kindle listing for the new ROL book? Unsure why the author is listed as Karima Hafidi (and there is no book cover included)

@ameetshah @wordle Ah got it. I'm a fan of STARE myself. I do like AUDIO, hadn't thought of that one. Need to find a better second word if I get skunked with STARE though.
