seriously, armys need to stop thinking the world only revolves around them and their idols. the industry is growing, and while bts has achieved so much and contributed a lot to k-pop, that doesn't mean other artists can't continue to thrive and make their own mark or path.
i just feel like as bts' popularity grew, some of these fans' egos grew along with it. they started acting like their success somehow makes them superior to everyone else, as if no other artist is allowed to reach the same level or have their own moment. bts can be incredibly successful and influential without every other artist's success being treated like a threat.
also, don't even get me started on the “cortis has privilege” argument just because they're under the same company. these boys have only been in the industry for a year, and while big hit backs them up, their full potential is still being held back. seeing everyone say that they're being pushed as a “bts replacement” is just completely disrespectful to both artists, because bts built their own name and legacy through years of hard work, while cortis deserves the chance to build their own identity and career without constantly being compared to them.
🏆 CORTIS takes 1st place on Music Bank today, earning the 12th win for “REDRED” even 5.5 months after its release.
Huge congrats to @cortis_bighit and COER! 🎉
