Il Café-Coiffeur di Oradour-sur-Glane Un luogo unico, a metà tra bar e bottega da barbiere, cuore pulsante della vita del villaggio. Il pannello riporta il nome Bretillaud, famiglia che ne fu proprietaria. 📍 Oradour sur Glane,Nuova Aquitania 🇫🇷 #myww2experience
Questa vista mostra la fucina del fabbro Beaulieu in Rue Emile Desourteaux a Oradour. Qui furono recuperati circa 25 cadaveri, tra cui quello di M. Guillaume Besson, un mercante di tessuti e uno dei soli 52 corpi identificabili rinvenuti in tutto il villaggio.

Quello che rimane del garage del meccanico,riconoscibile dai pannelli di vendita Oli. Il pozzo, come il cartello ricorda quel giorno, nel tentativo disperato di salvarsi o dopo essere stati uccisi, vennero gettati all’interno di questo pozzo.. 📍 Oradour sur Glane
Jean Desourteaux era il medico del villaggio e ne era anche il sindaco. Nato in una famiglia stimata, dedicò la sua vita alla comunità: curava i malati, assisteva i più poveri e, come primo cittadino, cercava di garantire equilibrio e protezione in tempi difficili.
Questo è monumento il ricordo alle 642 vittime di quel giorno e e anche dei caduti durante i due conflitti mondiali. Posto prima dell’ingresso del centro della memoria di Oradour dove poi si accede al villaggio martire. 📍Oradour sur Glane,Nuova Aquitania 🇫🇷 #myww2experience

Qui, una targa ricorda il signor Poutaraud, il meccanico del villaggio, il cui corpo venne ritrovato proprio in questo punto. Con lui scomparve anche la sua famiglia: la moglie e i figli Andrée, Marcel e Suzanne, bambini innocenti travolti dalla ferocia della guerra.
