Overall, always SO GOOD to see animated features push in a new direction. Even if it’s a lot of rehash of other things in a new way, it’s going to feel fresh (or warmly familiar) to a lot of people. The ending won’t be memorable but the ride was fun. 3.5/5

The strength of a filmmaking style like this is it’s so all over the place, you can have crappy shots but they’re undetectable because it feels like style.
