More amazing by the day For 27 of 34 days, California's #WindWaterSolar supply has exceeded demand. Today, it was for 4.8 h, with a peak of 110.1% #WWS supply over demand. Excess when to batteries and exports. Just need offshore wind & more solar+batteries to get to 100% 24/7
Electricity costs are going ⬆️ fast. Inflation is driving up interest rates and borrowing costs. Higher borrowing costs 💰for long payout electricity infrastructure projects drives utilities to seek higher rates from consumers to payout the capital investments. It’s a vicious cycle that softens political support.

@mzjacobson You should show the same graph for April 10, 2019.
@mzjacobson Massive dishonesty here. 4.8 hrs is 20% of day. What about remaining 80%? 27 out of 34 days is 79%. Ireland was self-sufficient in food for 95% of 19th century. Not much consolation to those who starved in 1845-49. Can improve renewable coverage stats but only at enormous cost
@mzjacobson My God! I agree to all you say, as in the other tweet, where you also stated: "More amazing by the day",And that´s the truth of what´s happening.California´s#WindWaterSolar supply has exceeded demand!🌞🌺🌞🌺 (Has any other surprising EV been devised lately? What about submarines?
@mzjacobson Qui è dove il super esperto di reti 100% green Jacobson, vi spiega come non ha ancora capito come funziona una rete elettrica, vantandosi della continua produzione in eccesso.
@mzjacobson CA barely built any generation since 2013. Texas in the last decade not only overtook CA but now has SIX TIMES more wind generation. Completely energy policy failure while wasting billions for BESS which benefits could not even approach what 36GW of wind could have delivered
