been tidying up ifdtool source code in coreboot. it started when i was adding a feature (nuke region with all 0xFF) and i saw their code was messy, to put it politely. my work so far (im refactoring all of it): vimuser.org/ifdtool.txt ifdtool manipulates intel flash descriptors

I made some improvements to the guide. Explained a few things (such as PTR records) a bit better, and tidied it up to make it flow better when reading. also added that photo of my actual l2tp router

I (re-)found this link the other day: sites.google.com/site/forgotten… It's a story, about some guy who keeps getting promoted at his company, but a glitch in company paperwork makes everyone forget he exists, so he just does nothing all day while getting paid. Has some mild BOFH vibes.
