When you’re the first state in 58 years to repeal “right to work”
@nagy_minaj Yay for higher unemployment rates, lower real manufacturing outputs, and lower wage growth rates
@nagy_minaj @0liviajulianna I'm feeling proud of Michigan, the state I grew up in.
@nagy_minaj Really need to change nomenclature here. “Right to work” sounds like a reasonable idea based solely on the name. Call it what it is: anti-workers’-rights laws or pro-exploitation laws.
@nagy_minaj Compelling workers to pay union dues which can be used for reasons/causes/campaigns the workers may not agree with.
@nagy_minaj Nice work. @gretchenwhitmer Gov, I want that coat!
@nagy_minaj Michigan doing some great things in government these days, unlike Florida. I miss home.
@nagy_minaj say what you want about college football but Michigan is kicking Ohio’s ass in rights and common sense helpful legs. A dem super majority is repealing rtw, enshrining women’s right to choose, passing gun safety laws, voter rights, & set ambitious state renewable standards by 2030
@nagy_minaj @0liviajulianna Not sure I understand. Can some one provide me a comparison to “at will” state. Thank you
@nagy_minaj People in Michigan saw the job Dems did for Detroit and were like, “yeah, we want that everywhere!” 😂
