Quite literally just crossed off a decently talented kid because they purposely missed their teammates high five and then proceeded to throw their water bottle. Recruits - THESE things matter more than you think to coaches.
@natbasket2302 You went 9-19..lol...maybe just try to get some talent and teach them body language...LOL...#virtuesignaling
@natbasket2302 I periodically see posts like this from coach's on X & I have to wonder, did you as a coach make it through the season outburst or negativity free? Every practice too?! You might have caught that player's only moment of frustration/negativity all year..
@natbasket2302 You're under the assumption that the kid wants to go do a D2 school in Minnesota?! You better humble yourself & be thankful that any kid is even interested in you or your program. You'll be begging kids in the Tranfer Portal to come play for you... 💯💡🤭
@natbasket2302 Wonder what coaches said? This must be acceptable in there culture. Thats a simple pack your stuff up and call me tomorrow before you return.
@natbasket2302 @wearesoccer_mi Any kid that purposely misses their teammates high fives cannot play for me. Throwing a water bottle is not a good look but can be corrected with good coaching.
@natbasket2302 Coach if you are going to be at ROSES look me up, I live there & I Scout the State Tons of great Talent w Good Attitudes come out of KY Just tell me what Level you play on & I can point you to a few teams you should see
@natbasket2302 Yes, I believe character matters. It matters to me as a player as well. I understand that people make mistakes, and a one time thing doesn't define you. However, I was always taught that you never know who is watching, so choose your actions wisely.
@natbasket2302 Good to see a coach NOT lowering the standard they believe in! Once you do that as a coach, you are done effectively coaching your kids & liking what you see when you look in the mirror!
