I love Star Wars, especially the Original Expanded Universe and all six movies ( no Disney please, not interested at all ). Just doesn’t feel the same. Ohio, USA Joined March 2018

@TheFoxBard The Dark Side is inherently evil. So a Dark Jedi would be evil. But that doesnt make them Sith. Sith is a doctrine and ideology.

@MaceAhWindu Literally what is the point though? Why do you want EU characters made "canon" if you are just going to change them? Just make new characters, and leave EU characters in the EU.

@TheFirstOkiro The Multimedia Project of course. Then again a world class five star restaurant is better than eating fries off the floor of an airport bathroom.

@Siriacus2 @SCentralized That being said Dis canon fans don’t have to read EU material they just have to respect our taste and our undesire to read anything currently considered canon.

@Siriacus2 @SCentralized Yeah from my experience EU haters or detractors haven’t read anything because it’s quote “not canon” or “insert random number % bad” Most EU fans simply don’t care about reading material they have no interest which is why we don’t.

I think one of the worst things about the expanded universe ending is we will never see the stories of darth zannah, or more on the dawn of the jedi, or more expanded clone wars novels, or Ben and vestara. No sword of the jedi. There was so much more that should have been done.

@RVN1207 Yes, but with the stipulation that EU authors are the ones working on it. I dont want Filoni, or Soule, or Gray working on it, I want Traviss, and Karpyshyn, and Zahn, and Luceno working on it.

@Skywalker11491 Dave did to Barris, what Disney would do to the OT and PT characters.

The creativity of The High Republic "creators". Copy - make slight alterations - claim you came up with it.

@SWCozyCoffee New Jedi Order, Legacy of the Force, and Fate of the Jedi built upon Luke's experience in the OT masterfully. They didn't betray everything he stood for and built up the lore and characters around him. They are why I'll always reject the Disney trilogy.

@maxine1138 I'd recommend the EU to people even if they weren't hardcore Star Wars fans. Stories like Thrawn, the New Jedi Order, Plagueis, Legacy of the Force, and KOTOR !&2 are just great sci-fi fantasy stories all by themselves.
