Recommendations: To keep your home safe, use native plants that can withstand droughts to slow fires down, especially if you live on a slope. Also, more space should be built between houses to prevent fires from spreading quickly.

Conclusions & Discussion: From these results we draw the conclusion that steeper slopes make fires spread quicker, wet grass slows down fires. By giving more space between houses we help keep fires from spreading quickly.

Results: We see faster times of fire spread when the ground was steeper. Wet grass slowed it down more than dry grass. With larger distances we saw an increase in time between houses.
