This is outrightly atrocious. Before 1947, the tribals had full autonomy to live their own nature oriented life and the right to protect their forest land. It is Indian State that oppressed them. And same Indian state is oppressing everyone else.

In the west beyond certain generations (say after 4 or 5 generations) they lose track of the common ancestry and happen to marry those person their lineage. In Hindu society, the gotra system ensures the common ancestry even after thousand generations. Our system is advanced.
