Getting a GP appointment when you have mental health problems & are neurodivergent is really difficult. 1. I am not awake at 8am to make an appointment; 2. Pre booked appointments are all booked up; 3. You give up for weeks & months; 4. Cycle of trying to get app starts again

I want to be a GP. @wesstreeting there are NO shortage of Drs wanting this pathway, bottle necks in each specialty.Post Foundation year 2, Drs are facing the reality of unemployment. I was told being a doctor is a job for life. It’s harder for disabled doctors like me.
Many people with severe mental illness (SMI) don’t get long term care needed- instead discharged 2cope 4themselves. The ‘quiet’ ones suffer silently until something terrible happens. Services must B re-built around the reality of support needed. #mentalillness #continuityofcare
