अंगारों से लगते -रेशमी परदे अब । इतिहास ठोकरें खाता -टूटी परिपाटी अब "नीलम"

सच गायब है जैसे-- फाइल दफ्तर में - बौने रौंद रहे हैं -- मीनारों के कंगूरे ।। "नीलम"
चीखती है खामोशी फैलते अंधेरों में । दर्द की दास्ताँ कफन ओढ सो जायेंं। "नीलम"
यूं तो खाली "घर" भी सांस लेते हैं पर "जंग" में "घरों" की मौत होती है ।।। "नीलम"
रूह का गुनगुनाना खामोशियों की रुनझुन ।। सदा नीरा सा बहता रहा सदियों हमारा प्यार।। "नीलम"
उतर गया है- सबसे "पानी " अब घुली है कालिख पानी में ।। "नीलम"
आग दिलों में द्वेष की दहकती हो। तो प्रेम का- प्रस्फुटन कैसे हो ? "नीलम"
कितने चिराग रोशन हुऐ मशहूर हुऐ। इक आफताब के डूबने के बाद । "नीलम"
जख्मी नदी मरती है -धीरे -धीरे कई बरस में । आस -पास की जमीं को भी बंजर कर देती है । "नीलम"
दिलकश है दुनियां -मुताबी की आग- सी आग तो आग - छू गई मन -रंग जला गई ॥। "नीलम"
तारीख और दिन लौट आते हैं बार -बार ।। जिन्हें आना था --- न--- आये एक बार ।। "नीलम"
ये हुस्न अदायें सब कर्ज पर हैं । वक्त आने पर हर एक को लौटाना है।। "नीलम"
किसी को दिया हुआ दुख इक अमानत है ।। जिसे लौटकर इक न इक दिन आना है ।। "नीलम"
सादगी मेरी --मुझ पर बहुत भारी ।। काश- "मैं"भी चालकियां सीख पाती ।।। "नीलम" ।।।
साये बहुत बडे थे पर्वतों से ऊंचे। सूरज क्या ढ़ला साये भी गुम हुऐ ।।। "नीलम"
खरीद सकूँ --कुछ खुशियाँ , बिलखते मासूम चेहरों के लिऐ।।। जिन्हें युद्ध ने यतीम किया , अपनी- अपनी अना के लिऐ ।।। "नीलम"
सुना है - समंदर है तू --हुआ करे । तेरी गहराई में डूबे- बडे सादा हैं लोग ।। "नीलम"
होगी फुर्सत जब -तब जरुर लिखूंगी ।। वो हसीन ख्वाव जो देखे पर जिये नहीं ।। "नीलम"
कुछ तो अदा है ऐ- समंदर तुझमें । वरना हर नदी यूं मिलने न आती ।। "नीलम"
वक्त ने मिजाज क्या बदला जरा । कि नीम में दशहरी घुलने लगे ।। "नीलम"
