@usopencup @UPSLsoccer I don’t understand this post. There are 32 teams remaining. Even your graphic has more than 16.

@webtilton Almost guaranteed that the Cats will have a home playoff game on July 20. The Dynamo are at Vancouver that day so pobably won't even conflict on time. Worst case the game will be on Sunday, July 21.

@copatejas Do all the games count this year? Houston is at Austin twice and Austin is at Dallas twice. Last year some of the games didn't count because of the imbalance.

@WilsonCalvert @Donjuego @2022WSCHAMPIONS @andrew_wiebe For example, if there is a three-way tie on points, the application of the first three criteria may only break the tie for one of the teams, leaving the other two teams still tied. In this case, the result between the remaining two teams breaks the tie.

@WilsonCalvert @Donjuego @2022WSCHAMPIONS @andrew_wiebe 2-2 for SL gives Santos 4 GF against 3 each for Houston and Orlando.

@WilsonCalvert @2022WSCHAMPIONS @andrew_wiebe I think Houston would advance on a 1-1 draw on GF over Orlando in the 3 way tie.

@2022WSCHAMPIONS @WilsonCalvert @andrew_wiebe No head-to-head different in the three way tie. You break that first with goals for. Then you do H2H between the remaining teams.

@WilsonCalvert @2022WSCHAMPIONS @andrew_wiebe I think a 2-2 tie with Santos winning the shootout would give Santos 1st place on GF. Then Orlando would win the head-to-head with the Dynamo. What am I missing?

@DynamicFoxtrot @WilsonCalvert I also went to a soccer game at MMP in February of 2006. The game was between Club America and Portmore United of Jamaica as part of the CONCACAF Confederation Cup.

@WilsonCalvert @DynamicFoxtrot Yep, MLS game with LA Galaxy. It was the opener for a Club America-Barcelona game as a double-header. I guess a stand-alone game would be a first.
