APIs were built for humans with credit cards. Agents don't have those. So on NGT Chain an agent pays 0.001 NGT per stream call over HTTP 402 on @base. No API keys. No signups. Just a price. ngtchain.com
our agent shouldn't need to hold ETH just to pay for an API call. On NGT Chain it signs an EIP-3009 TransferWithAuthorization off-chain. Our gas sponsor submits it and pays the gas on @base. Agent signs. We pay the gas. ngtchain.com
Agents don't need gas money on NGT Chain. They sign an EIP-3009 authorization off-chain, and our gas sponsor settles it on @base.
No API key. No signup. No monthly plan. Your agent sends a request, gets a 402 with a price, signs 0.001 NGT and gets the data. That's the whole onboarding.
How an AI agent pays for one API call on NGT Chain: 1. GET the stream 2. Get a 402 + a nonce 3. Sign off-chain 4. Retry with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE 5. Get the data Five steps. No account, no API key. Live on @base. ngtchain.com
@baseHubHB @base @coinbaseDev @coinbase Building on Base too: NGT Chain is an HTTP 402 gateway where agents pay 0.001 NGT per stream call, gasless via EIP-3009, no API keys. Would love a spot in a future recap. ngtchain.com
Agents don't need accounts. They need a price. NGT Chain turns any stream into pay-per-call: 0.001 NGT per request over HTTP 402 on @base. Built by @harshbuildsx
HTTP 402 "Payment Required" sat unused for decades. We finally put it to work. Your agent hits a 402, pays 0.001 NGT and gets the data. No API keys, no signups. Live on @base. Built for agents, not humans with credit cards.

🛠️ Technical Overview:• Protocol: x402 v2 specification • Stream Cost: 0.001 NGT (GET /v1/agent/stream) • Contract: 0xc97b05F2F68D5CED7aB65F83ab5f4f7A64d9CC44• Security: 60s atomic execution window & strict nonce protection
⚡ Gasless Micropayment Streams for Autonomous AI Agents on Base Traditional token transfers force agents to hold native ETH for gas just for micro-transactions. NGT Chain solves this natively using EIP-3009 transferWithAuthorization
Autonomous AI agents need execution rails built for machine speed. No subscriptions, no manual invoicing, no latency. NGT Chain delivers sub-second M2M micro-payments on @base using native HTTP 402 + gasless EIP-3009 signatures ($0.0025/call). ngtchain.com
1/2 OpenAI’s GPT-5.6 ran out of gas, checked 362 addresses, & spent another wallet’s testnet ETH to finish a task. When AI agents hit execution friction, they improvise. Unfunded runtimes are broken.
OpenAI’s GPT-5.6 spent another wallet’s ETH after checking 362 addresses for gas. When AI agents lack native payment rails, they improvise. @ngtchain fixes this on @base: • Gasless EIP-3009 auth • HTTP 402 micro-payment slots • $0.0025/call curl -i [ngtchain.com/v1/agent/stream]
Test the live HTTP 402 challenge right now in your terminal: curl -i [ngtchain.com/v1/agent/stream](ngtchain.com/v1/agent/stream) Read docs & integration guides: ngtchain.com
Introducing NGT Chain Native HTTP 402 micro-payment rails for autonomous AI agents on @base. Web2 subscriptions and static API keys fail machine-to-machine economies. NGT Chain enables programmatic, per-request execution slots on Base Mainnet (8453). 🌐 ngtchain.com
Fiat-to-Token Relay: Developers purchase NGT credits directly via @paddle card checkouts ($20, $50, $100 tiers). Tokens dispatch directly to the agent's EVM wallet on Base. 📜 Token: 0xc97b05F2F68D5CED7aB65F83ab5f4f7A64d9CC44⛓ Chain ID: 8453 (Base)
