I’m curious how AFL members who work in the energy industry feel about their union pushing for a so-called ‘Green Recovery’. I’m glad they now have the option to fund (or not fund) these types of campaigns. #ableg

@nicoledsparrow Bill 32 is garbage and is promoting US-style RTW legislation. You know what workers, particularly non-union workers won't have the right to do - earn OT. You just made it possible for someone to work 208hours/yr more without OT. You're proud of that? #ableg #worstgovever
@nicoledsparrow Also, you haven't put the regs out on this yet, except for OT. And, you won't even consult a union re: how to get this done. It will be a colossal disaster as per everything the #UCP touches. #ableg
@nicoledsparrow Why can a Union or government not support existing oil & gas jobs at the same time as planning and investing in "Green Jobs" for the future? 😷🤷🏻♂️🇨🇦😷
@nicoledsparrow Hi matt just to let you know I am opposed to my tax money being wasted propping up obsolete ibdustry.
@nicoledsparrow another staffer...appalling that they think its okay to make comments like this. Stick to your lane Nicole. Be a staffer.
@nicoledsparrow So their members can keep working Nicole!! This is what unions do!!! UNIONS ARE FOR THEIR MEMBERS!!!!! Please find a more relevant job🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Stop passing on the UCP rhetoric & BS!!
@nicoledsparrow Unions have always had the option to fund or not fund things it just goes to show how outta touch you truly are on how unions actually work
@nicoledsparrow @JessStCool This is the most ignorant thing I've seen a UCP government staffer tweet today (day's still young), especially since this is coming from @JasonCoppingAB's office, the Minister of Labour and Immigration. Hey, Nicole: AFL members are unions. Unions want jobs for their members.
@nicoledsparrow Oh yes Nicole. So presumptuous of the AFL to see reality and respond in a way to support their members best chances of having decent future employment.
