Design is the entrepreneur's blind spot. We obsess over features and functionality. We nail the business logic. Then users see our UI and bounce in 3 seconds. No one taught us: good design isn't decoration, it's communication.

Building my SaaS taught me: There's no "perfect" tech stack for startups. My stack (Node/AWS/Next) feels heavy for my SaaS. But I built the MVP in 2 weeks because I know it well. Familiar tools > trendy tools Shipping Your comfort zone might be your competitive advantage⚡️
Hack for indie hackers: Your brain needs evidence you're progressing. Big goals (10k users) feel impossible on day 12. Small goals (5 new signups this week) feel achievable. Win small consistently = build momentum Build momentum = avoid the "quit trap" Stack tiny victories 🎯
