Look at this furball. We can feel the lumpy liver if we look for it, but she's doing good. The fur on her belly is growing back and she gets very angry if I try to pet it. The sass is in full force and I wouldn't have it any other way.

So our sweet old lady Fannie has an inoperable tumor on her liver in addition to the cysts we found 3 years ago. The vet said her quality of life seems excellent right now, so no need for comfort meds yet. We are gonna roll on & let her live her best remaining life possible.

Any good thoughts for this 17-yr-old lady are appreciated. Took her to the vet for vomiting blood. She hasn't had any issues since, but we had an ultrasound done because xrays showed her liver is huge and moving her other organs. We get results today.

Back in June, I help my mom clean out her pool shed. There's a strand of old twinkle lights with plastic flamingos. "Throw them out," she says. "They don't work." But I see that the flamingos came off easily, so I start to pull them off. "I can do something with these."

Someone did this for my mother-in-law, after my father-in-law passed. It wasn't a shutoff situation, but someone paid the outstanding balance on her electric bill. She got a letter that it was paid by someone anonymously.

I know I mostly follow people on here but need to share. Unexpectedly, my dad passed this morning. Mom has been in the hospital since Wednesday dealing with her own issues. I feel lost but @nicstodash is the best wife in the world and has been there for me today.
