On Friday, I met with local resident @AndrewofSussex to discuss access to Child Trust Funds. Due to an oversight when the funds were created, it is almost impossible for families to access their own savings in cases where children, when they reach age 18, are deemed unable to.

Let’s hope they use the process the industry already has in place as a basis. It still needs pressure in the MOJ to relax their stance. Let’s hope finally this will happen.

I echo Andrews comments. The refusal of the @MoJGovUK to take any action just shows how behind the times they are and they are only interested in protecting their roles than seeking a workable solution. Whilst they met the industry in the past they never properly engaged.
