Nomadic Options @nomadicoptions

@BowTiedMara I haven’t been to Jujuy or Salta yet. Can’t wait to go. I only hear good things.

@Lionheart_77777 @SovereignLatam @0xdudes This is correct. There’s a huge amount of wealth in Cordoba but it’s in places like Las Delicias, La Deseada, La Calera etc. Some absolutely incredible homes in these gated communities but the city itself is probably worse off (not anyone’s fault) with many having moved out

@ervitimago Spring certainly isn’t off to a good start in Cordoba…

@BowTiedMara Tourism accommodation yields in ARG are very, very attractive right now but by the time it’s finished, who knows! In 2022 we were paying $22/night for a (very nice) one bedder in Palermo Chico. Same place now is ~$150 /night.

@bauamadeo @BuySellBA I’ve done this road recently too. It’s amazing how the quality of the road instantly changes when you cross the border.

@BowTiedYanqui Time for a trip, it sounds like. Weather has been miserable here and any excuse to head to Patagonia.

@ThyLordMatthew Cordoba has also been horrendous. A little bit of sun a couple of weeks ago then cloudy almost every day.

@Van_Diemen_ Sorry to hear. The geography and vibe of Rio is hard to beat. I always feel so on edge there though.

@Geologo_Trader @TakenosApp I’m getting ARS1595.36 + 0.5% cash back with CacaoCash. Super happy with it with transferencias/Mercado Pago QR code payment integration etc.

@deedee7dia @darkminer Not the best week to start 😅

@Lufernandez05 @BuySellBA @Daniel_Grioli I don’t agree that nothing works either. Where it all falls apart (and is significantly worse than most to the world) is anything cross border. As Daniel said, you have probably never transferred money from abroad into an Argentinian bank account, and that is just one example.

@Martin69Mdq @BuySellBA @Daniel_Grioli I agree. I choose to live here because I love the culture, the people, the way of life. I’ve lived in four countries and every place has pros and cons. You need to choose what works best for you…but there’s zero point in complaining if you have the means to chose another place

@SovereignLatam Enjoy! It’s a lovely area. The best part of Cordoba in my opinion

@fierro7676 @BuySellBA @Daniel_Grioli @levelsio The US has its own set of problems but you can’t fault its efficiency when it comes to banking, liquidity, capital markets, availability of financial products etc. I’ve never been through the US visa process but by all accounts it’s pretty efficient.

@fierro7676 @BuySellBA @Daniel_Grioli I’m not saying your opinion is wrong. But your experience of bureaucracy in Argentina is as a local. Australia for me is efficient. My friends who recently immigrated have a different opinion. Comparing my experience as a foreigner in both the UK and ARG, the UK is 100x easier

@fierro7676 @BuySellBA @Daniel_Grioli I lived in the UK for four years. As an Australian, imo the bureaucracy in Argentina is tougher to deal with than the UK. You haven’t been through the six to eight hour days sitting at migraciones being unable to live life properly without a DNI

@NotA_Bull Down $26,000 or 0.81% but I have a solid cash allocation, cut back on option selling the past week and hold some steady industrials at the moment. Waiting for a bit more volatility to get some better premiums…I think that’s happening soon.

@Gukaso Agree. Oversold even with the dilution.

@TCAB_YVR_EZE @itsjacksworld I was in Rio and SP in January and July. Argentina is noticeably more expensive in USD terms now imo and the gap got bigger each time I went. Especially food and grocery.
